Spokane Project Wins Tilt-Up Award

Spokane— One Northwest construction project was among the winners in the Tilt-Up Concrete Association's Achievement Awards Program for 2004.
DIVCON Inc., of Spokane, won the award in the Office-Speculative category for the Iron Bridge 1401 Building project in Spokane. The 24,772-square-foot building employed tilt-up to provide the aesthetics of a brick exterior with the structural integrity of concrete cost-effectively.
DIVCON served as general contractor and tilt-up contractor. Other members of the project team included DCI Engineers, Spokane, engineering; Scott System Inc., Denver, cast-in finishes; SECO Construction Equipment Inc., Spokane; Meadow Burke, lifting hardware; and Nox-Crete Products Group, bond breaker.
