Lake Saint Louis, Mo.— Paric Corp. is on schedule to complete the new corporate campus of National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) in Lake Saint Louis in March 2005. The $18-million project will allow the software developer to consolidate 300 workers at two existing facilities in St. Peters, Mo., into one location, while also accommodating future growth.
The 135,000-square-foot technology center is emerging from a 35-acre site at 3400 Technology Dr. near the intersection of Highway 40 and Lake Saint Louis Boulevard. The building can be expanded to 300,000 square feet of space and accommodate another 500 workers.
Designed by Arcturis, the tilt-up concrete building will have two rectangular wings that join with a three-story glass atrium to mark the main entrance. One of the wings will be used for a mail production facility and office space. The other wing will host additional office space, a state-of-the-art training facility and a software development center.
The campus will have nearly 1 mile of walking trails, including a 1/3-mile jogging path. Two ponds and lush greenery will highlight the naturally landscaped site.
Joining Paric and Arcturis on the project are Bax Engineering Co. Inc., civil engineer; Bi-State Fire Protection Corp., fire protection; Charles E. Jarrell Contracting Inc., mechanical; McNealy-Bumberry Engineering Inc., structural engineer; and Sachs Electric Co., electrical.
