Wirtgen America Names Tim Kowalski Manager

Staff -- Associated Construction Publications, 5/1/2007

Tim Kowalski has been named manager, Pavement Engineering Services. Kowalski will assist customers in understanding pavement material properties and their potential or capacity for recycling. He'll be involved in educating customers about the benefits of foamed asphalt and how to design foamed asphalt mixes as well as consult on equipment applications. Wirtgen America Inc., Nashville, is the North American arm of the Wirtgen Group, a marketer of advanced lines of asphalt reclaiming and recycling equipment.

In late 2006, Wirtgen America Inc. was named one of the Best Employers in Tennessee by Business Tennessee magazine in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management Tennessee State Council, Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Best Companies Group. This third annual survey and award program identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in Tennessee for the benefit of the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. Made up of 25 companies split into two groups — 15 small/medium-sized companies (25 to 249 employees) and 10 large-sized companies (over 250 employees) — Wirtgen America falls into the small/medium category.
