No-Cost Online Tool Helps Customers Get Loan Quotes

Staff -- Western Builder, 7/16/2007

AFP Solutions, Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., recently launched an Internet-driven loan-quoting service that enables a builder or private borrower from anywhere in the country to receive quotes from multiple lenders by completing just one online application.

Free for borrowers, AFP Funding Request draws on a network of approved lenders who have joined the service in order to boost their lending business.

"Using our simple online application, your project is distributed to our entire network of approved lenders, who then compete to give you the best loan possible," said Patrick Cunningham, AFP president.

Because the service requires only one online application per project, borrowers avoid the pitfall of costly production packets and varying requirements between lenders. When borrowers submit an application, they are not required to provide any confidential personal information or submit to a credit check prior to talking directly with a lender.

The system's pool of lenders is continually growing because it enables lending companies to bid on projects outside their immediate areas.

"Borrowers win by getting more competitive bids than they would otherwise, and lenders win by gaining access to borrowers through the service," said Cunningham.

AFP Solutions, Inc. develops Internet-based software that streamlines the managing of construction loans. Its products enable lenders, inspectors and contractors to access disbursement information by logging in to a secure, shared database. The company's National Fund Control service uses proprietary software to provide lenders with complete construction loan processing and disbursement services.
