Utah AGC Names Fullmer Director of Apprenticeship Training

Staff -- Rocky Mountain Construction, 8/13/2007

Salt Lake City— The Associated General Contractors of Utah has announced the hiring of Rich Fullmer as director of apprenticeship training. In this role, Fullmer will work with AGC members, applied technology centers and apprenticeship training programs within various Utah colleges to promote awareness and job opportunities for new workers in the construction industry.

"We are confident in Fullmer's ability to take AGC's already successful training programs to new levels," said Richard Thorn, AGC of Utah president and CEO. "His experience will assist AGC in obtaining greater participation, more exposure, increased graduates, and stronger alliances."

Previously, Fullmer worked as a mason for contractor Tri-K, as well as a carpenter and laborer for R.B. Ellis Construction. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from the University of Phoenix in 2003.
