Volvo SMART drum Through SMART drum technology, Volvo's HFA high-frequency compactors can be used for a wide range of applications. Engineered with eight amplitude settings, each setting is automatically adjusted to highest frequency for that amplitude selection. Patented impact meter measures relationship between vibration frequency and its rolling speed to indicate number of drum impacts per foot.
