Champion C110C and C116C Motor Graders

Staff -- Associated Construction Publications, 4/1/2008

The C110 C Tandem Drive and C116 C All Wheel Drive Series Graders weigh in at approximately 24,000 pounds, are powered to 133 horsepower, and are designed to bridge the gap between traditional "compact" grader lines and "large" grader models.

Champion C110C and C116C Motor GradersThe machines are powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 that meets Tier-3 Emissions and delivers 431 pound-foot of torque, and a fully sequential, direct drive 8 forward/4 reverse transmission that offers a top speed of 27 mph. With a longer wheelbase and bladebase, plus a wider stance, these graders maintain the do-everything capability.

The hydrostatic All Wheel Drive system in the C116 C allows the operator to engage only the front wheels up to 2 mph for optimum fine grading control. And with the inclusion of a direct drive transmission, these graders have added snow clearing to the many tasks they can handle.

All standard Champion features have been built-in to these machines including full perimeter rear frame, fully machined tandem boxes, engineering for attachment loading and powering and fully certified braking systems.

In addition, value-added Champion options and attachments such as the scarifier, ripper, dozer, roller and tamper can make the C110 C and C116 C into the ultimate productivity machines. Additionally, these machines have the necessary brackets pre-engineered for an Automatic Blade Control System plus ROPS/FOPS cab with HVAC.
