Skanska Names New VPS: Ronnie Howe, Jr., Houston; Scott Cannon, San Antonio; Marty Massey, Harlingen

Ronnie Howe, Jr. was promoted to vice president of operations, responsible for oversight of Skanska's Houston office. Prior to his appointment as vice president of operations, Howe served as project executive for the Texas market, where he specialized in construction management of health care and higher education facilities. Howe has been with Skanska for three years and brings 27 years of experience in the construction industry, including overseeing the development of more than 14 education and healthcare projects for Skanska.

Scott Cannon has been promoted to vice president of operations for Skanska's San Antonio office. His responsibilities include oversight of several Skanska health care and higher education construction projects in Central Texas. Cannon has 12 years of industry experience and has been with Skanska for more than 10 years. His experience in the construction industry has included overseeing the development of more than 10 health care and education projects in Texas and Georgia, most notably the Methodist Stone Oak Hospital in San Antonio, the Medical Center of Plano in Plano, the Alamo Community College District in San Antonio, and the Medical Center of Arlington in Arlington.

The Harlingen office of Skanska has announced that Marty Massey was promoted to vice president of operations. In his new role, Massey will be responsible for overseeing operations for the Harlingen and the Central Texas markets. Massey has been with Skanska for over 27 years, most recently serving as field operations manager. Recent projects include the University of Houston Sugarland Academic Building, the University of Texas at Brownsville, and Texas Southmost College — Music Education Building.

Jose Reyes was promoted to senior project manager for Skanska's operations in Harlingen. Reyes will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects in the Harlingen market. Reyes most recently served as project manager for Skanska. He brings with him more than nine years of construction management experience including pre-construction and project management/operations services and a proven track record of effective team leadership.
