Corgan Picks Four New Associates

Harper Hicks has been named associate of Corgan Associates, Inc. Hicks joined Corgan in 2000 and has been in charge of coordinating consultants, creating construction documents and managing architectural interns. Her architectural work with the firm earned her a Larry Eldridge Award, given to only one recipient within the 280-plus employee firm. In her new role, Hicks will be responsible for managing a team of architectural and interior design interns as well as participating in the development of standards of practice and the business development of the firm. Hicks is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Hicks earned a bachelor of architecture degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

Jorge Gonzalez has been named associate of Corgan Associates, Inc., the ninth largest U.S.-based architectural and interior design firm. Gonzalez has worked on corporate, education and health care design projects. His previous work on the Charles W. Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas, earned him an AIA Design Award. Gonzalez has worked on top projects including Experian Data Center and Lake Highlands Family YMCA. A member of AIA and Toastmasters, Gonzalez holds a bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Liz Wilson has been named associate of Corgan. Wilson joined the company in 1994 and has worked with the interior design team for 13 years. Due to her extensive experience in the interior design field, Wilson has been sourced as an industry expert. Wilson is a registered interior designer in the state of Texas and a member of the Stephen F. Austin State University Alumni Association. She graduated cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches with a bachelor of arts degree.

Randall Smith has been named associate, art director of Corgan. He is working with Corgan's specialized Media Lab Team to provide visual solutions for architecture, broadcast, film, and game clients. Prior to joining the firm, Smith was a 3-D artist for May Advertising. He began his career with Corgan as a modeler and later moved into an artist position. In 2006, Smith's job for the Army & Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES), Robot Arm, won a Telly award. Smith is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Graphics and Interactive Techniques (SIGGRAPH). Smith earned his associates degree in modeling animation from the Art Institute of Dallas.
