Staff -- Associated Construction Publications, 5/1/2008

Construction of a new 100,000-square-foot facility in Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, is underway to establish McCloskey International as a world-class center for innovative quality and design in flatdeck screening and crushing equipment.

McCloskey Facility in Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern IrelandThe facility will house the rapidly growing engineering team behind McCloskey's highly successful "high energy" vibratory screeners as well as the company's recently announced mobile crushing plants. A series of four manufacturing bays dedicated to specific product lines will deliver S-Series screeners, R-Series screeners and C-Series jaw crushers for McCloskey customers worldwide.

The offices and manufacturing plant will be located on a 14-acre site recently purchased by McCloskey in the Granville Industrial Estate in Dungannon. According to McCloskey International's Vice President John O'Neill, the location provides an ideal base for the firm's continued expansion.

Based in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, the company's North American facilities will continue as its worldwide center for trommel engineering, manufacturing and service support. The Dungannon facility is projected to commence operations by fall 2009.
