Church Construction In Laguna Niguel

Staff -- California Builder and Engineer, 5/19/2008

Consolidated Contracting Services, Inc., a Southern California commercial construction firm, is well into completing construction for two new buildings totaling 17,300 square feet of space on the existing Mission Lutheran Church campus, located at 24360 Yosemite Road in Laguna Niguel, Calif.

Church member Rich Boureston and Pastor Bill Snyder are representing the church for the duration of construction.

Consolidated Contracting provided pre-construction services for the project, demolishing the existing buildings. It is now constructing a single-story building, which will house the fellowship hall, and a two-story building, which will accommodate church administrative offices. Both structures will be of masonry construction with steel framing. The project scope also includes related site work. Construction is slated for completion in September 2008.

Matt Tillotson is serving as project manager for Consolidated Contracting, with Alberto Trujillo as construction superintendent. Everett Martinez of Martinez Kuch Architects is the project architect.

Consultants for the project include Tilden Engineering, serving as structural engineer; NA & Associates, Inc. as civil engineer; Montross & Associates as electrical and mechanical engineer; and Barnett Consulting as the landscape architect.

Founded in 1983, Consolidated Contracting Services, Inc. is a full-service general contracting firm providing pre-construction, construction and construction management services for commercial development and tenant improvement projects throughout the southwest region of the United States.
