SmithGroup Elevates Susan Arneson

The SmithGroup board of directors has elected Susan Arneson, C.P.S.M. to the position of vice president. As corporate marketing director for SmithGroup, Arneson oversees strategic corporate marketing initiatives, including support of the firm's national practices and client satisfaction program. She has more than 25 years of experience in the marketing of professional technical services, including 15 in the built environment. Arneson received a master's of business administration from The University of Michigan, a bachelor of arts in biology from St. Olaf College, and a master of arts in biology from Drake University. She is certified as a professional marketing services marketer by the Society for Marketing Professional Services.
The 800-person Detroit firm is composed of client industry-focused practices serving the education, workplace, health care, and science and technology markets.
