Klobucar Construction Company, Inc., Beloit, Wis., a general contractor and construction manager in the Stateline Area, has announced that Jerome F. Klobucar, vice-president, is now a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional.

The LEED Green Building Rating System is the nationally recognized rating system for the design, construction and maintenance of sustainable, high-performance buildings. The LEED rating system was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council.

As a LEED Accredited Professional, Klobucar is accredited to assist Klobucar Construction Company, Inc. customers on the wide range of requirements needed for their projects to achieve a LEED Green Building Certification. He is able to provide a complete framework for assessing building performance and the implementation of strategies for sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.
