Lexington, Ky.— In March 2005, the board of directors of LBX Company approved a project that would result in the building of a new world headquarters office building and a dealer sales and service training facility for the company. And six months later, LBX officially broke ground for the new facility, located on a 9-acre site at the intersection of Greendale Road and Buck Lane in Fayette County.

LBX's office building, which opened in 2006, is a two-story structure with approximately 26,000 square feet. The office building houses all of the functional activities of the company except for field operations.

The LBX dealer sales and service building is approximately 7,500 square feet in size and includes a two-story area of 1,440 square feet per floor. This two-story area is used for both the LBX Company Distribution Center functions and the LBX Company Training Center. The remainder of the building is used to provide staging of equipment for sales and service training, engineering testing and limited equipment teardown.

An outdoor area behind the customer service/training building is used as a demonstration area for LBX's line of Link-Belt earthmoving, forestry and material handling equipment.

A 50,000-square-foot service parts distribution center, which became operational in the first quarter of 2007, is also located at the corporate headquarters complex.
