Staff -- Associated Construction Publications, 6/26/2008
Brian Peretin has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing for National Crane, one of the world’s largest providers of lifting equipment for the global construction market. In his new role, he will be responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing for the National Crane line of boom trucks. He will continue to develop the company’s market-leading position in the Americas and will also consult on growing Manitowoc’s business in Latin America.
He reports to Dave Birkhauser, Manitowoc’s senior vice president of sales for the Americas, who says Peretin’s role will be to continue strengthening National Crane’s presence in the industry.
Peretin replaces John Lukow, who now serves as managing director of Manitowoc’s operations Australia and New Zealand. Prior to taking up his latest position, Peretin was sales manager for Potain tower cranes and self-erecting cranes in North America. During his time there he established a successful regional sales team and grew the North American dealer network.
