HERC Pelham, AL, Facility Celebrates Grand Re-Opening

Staff -- Dixie Contractor, 8/18/2008

Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) recently celebrated the grand re-opening of its Pelham, AL, General Rental facility. The event, which drew more than 200 people, showcased the facility's showroom and newly-expanded product line, which includes small tools, equipment and contractors' supplies.

At the grand re-opening, vendor demonstrations and literature were available, a free lunch was catered by Dreamland Bar-B-Que, and giveaways were provided on-site. HERC management participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony, and a local radio station broadcast live from the event.

The grand re-opening of HERC Pelham is part of the company's General Rental program expansion, which HERC began in 2003. The company added 23 General Rental locations in 2007 as part of its planned expansion in that line of equipment rental and currently has more than 100 General Rental locations throughout the United States and Canada.

HERC Pelham offers a variety of construction and industrial equipment and related products.

Located at 2150 Pelham Parkway, Pelham, AL 35124, the 2500-square foot HERC facility is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The location can be reached at 205-988-8530.
