Big Tax Savings This Year

Are you taking advantage of the business portion of the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008? You have the rest of this year to realize tremendous tax breaks on everything purchased for your business from heavy equipment to trucks, vans, and office equipment, etc.
Two key elements are the 50-Percent “Bonus” Depreciation, and Enhanced Small Business Expensing (Sec.179).
Both are explained briefly in an article, “Two Keys to Jump-Start Your Economic Engine In 2008” (www.acppubs.com – click onto Trends, then Economics at the top of page). There are links there to tax information providers Commerce Clearing House (CCH) and Deloitte, as well as Wells Fargo Construction Div., and the National Association of Manufacturers, for more insight into the advantages of purchasing equipment a.s.a.p.
Apparently, many ConExpo attendees are already in the race, as manufacturers there have reported heavy sales during the event…
