World of Concrete recycles Staff - 05/04/2009
The 2009 World of Concrete continued to recycle its post-show waste and concrete. Exhibitors and attendees recycled 93 percent of the waste and concrete after the show, an increase of 12 percent over the 2008 show. Concrete walls and slabs used for demonstrations were diverted from landfills through recycling as were typical materials used at shows, according to show director Tom Cindric.
