Kubota Corporation named Satoshi Iida as the new president of Kubota Tractor Corporation, Torrance, CA. Iida has been with Kubota Corporation for 29 years and served in the company's engineering, utility tractor, and construction equipment divisions. He was president of Kubota Europe in France prior to this appointment and is a member of the board of directors.

New OSHA Director 05/18/2009
Jim Krueger was appointed as the new Minnesota OSHA compliance director in April. Krueger has worked for 18 years at Minnesota OSHA moving from safety investigator to safety consultant, principal and, most recently, manager. He earned a bachelor's degree in math teaching and a master's degree in safety and health from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.

Walter Peterson Dies 05/18/2009
Walter Peterson, president, Lovering Associates, Inc., died on April 15, 2009, from melanoma cancer. Peterson graduated from Mound High School and the University of Minnesota with a degree in civil engineering, was a member of Chi Epsilon, and served in the U.S. Army. He worked in construction for Standard Construction and Bor-Son Construction.
