Builders and Trade Contractors: Are you at risk of falling on the jobsite? …Then You Shouldn’t Miss the Fall Protection Training seminar The content is based on the English/Spanish NAHB-OSHA Fall Protection Handbook and Fall Protection Video, which are straightforward guides for builders, remodelers, and trade contractors that have been designed to show you how to eliminate the most common fall hazards found on home building jobsites and what you need to do to comply with OSHA fall protection regulations. Special emphasis will be placed on how to develop a written fall protection plan, how to protect stairways, leading edges, window/wall openings and floor holes, how to use a Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS), how to safely construct rafters and install roof trusses and sheeting, and other safe work practices when working at heights. The seminar will teach you how to: Recognize the most common fall hazards on residential jobsites Use safe work practices to reduce the risk of injuries Comply with OSHA fall protection regulations that apply to the home building industry Each participant will receive: NAHB-OSHA Fall Protection Handbook NAHB Fall Protection Video Valuable safety and health materials
