The Improvements under this District Contract consist of FPID 451086-4-52-01 for the Bridge Repair of Spalled Areas, Crack Repairs, Expansion Joints, Cathodic Protection, Bearing Pad Repairs, and Slope Protection and FPID 451086-3-52-01 for replacing the existing fender system “in-kind” with steel HP piles and composite lumber wales for SR 30 (US 98) OVER EAST PASS BRIDGE NOS. 570082 & 570054 in Okaloosa County. PRE-QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO BID ON THIS PROJECT Marine General Liability Insurance as referenced in Section 7-13.5 of the FDOT Standard Specifications may be required if any work under this Contract is performed using vessel(s)*. Prior to the Contract execution, Contractor shall provide written certification to the Department if no vessel(s) will be used for the work. * Vessel: a watercraft or other artificial contrivance, whether motorized or non-motorized, used to perform some or all of the work, as well as any incidental work related to the project, which includes, but is not limited to, barges, dredges, mobile offshore drilling units, floating cranes, tugboats, ferries, and any watercraft used to transport construction workers, materials, or equipment at the project.
