The work specified in this Contract consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to replace four (4) existing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) located at Turnpike Headquarters Complex, Turkey Lake Service Plaza, Florida's Turnpike Mainline, Milepost 263.0. ATTENDANCE AT A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE IS REQUIRED TO BID ON THIS WORK. THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, JULY 14, 2026, AT 1:00 P.M. AT THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, TURNPIKE HEADQUARTERS COMPLEX, TURKEY LAKE SERVICE PLAZA, BUILDING 5315, FLORIDA'S TURNPIKE, MILEPOST 263.0. A NON-MANDATORY SITE VISIT WILL FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE. The Bidder (Prime Contractor) and/or sub-contractor shall be currently licensed and hold a certification or registration issued by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board as an Electrical Contractor in strict accordance with Chapter 489, Florida Statutes. Prospective bidders who wish to visit the site will need to contact Mr. Dan Walker at (954) 934-1264 or via email dan.walker@dot.state.fl.us for scheduling.
