Description:
The services under this Contract consist of the removal, replacement and disposal of one damaged prestressed beam 2-1; including 5 diaphragms (3 intermediate and 2 end) between beams 2-1 and 2-2, the deck from the centerline of beam 2-2 to the outside edge in span 2, the curb and barrier wall in span 2, to remove, store, and reinstall rail in Span 2 and spall repair on beam 2-2. There is a slide plate joint over bent 3 that will need to be protected in-place or removed and reinstalled. Remove and reinstall “Bellville Road” and “No Trucks Left Lane” signs on North face of Beam 2-1. The Contractor is responsible for providing all associated maintenance of traffic (“MOT”) and for providing all incidentals including, without limitation, joint sealing, deck grooving, pavement markings, beam bearing plate anchor bolts (requiring coring and epoxy setting new bolts), deck coping, raised curb, and traffic barrier wall as necessary to restore the Bridge and roadway to substantially the same condition as existed prior to the damage occurring. MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING.
