Description:
The purpose of this Contract is to provide Cut and Toss Operations pursuant to a Governor's and/or Presidential Declaration of a State Emergency. This Contract includes Brevard, Osceola, Orange, and Seminole Counties within District D-8 Florida's Turnpike. The Contractor shall perform Cut and Toss Operations pursuant to the terms of this Contract and at the direction of the Department within District D-8 Florida's Turnpike. NO PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD FOR THIS CONTRACT. NOTES: 1. No Pre-Bid Conference. 2. Award is contingent upon legislative budget approval and availability of funds. 3. Awarded Contractor must execute documents within 10 days. 4. General Liability, Auto and Workman's Compensation Insurance required. 5. FHWA 1273//Davis-Bacon Wage Rates 6. The Contractor shall provide a letter to the Department AT THE TIME OF BID, from a surety authorized to do business in the State of Florida verifying the Contractor is bondable in the State of Florida. For the purposes of this Contract, the dollar amount is established at $1,000,000.00. The performance bond will be required within five days after commencement of any services. 7. Multiple contracts may be awarded from this advertisement.
