I-94 Bridge Rehabilitation, Replacement & HMA Resurfacing Design Build Project: 10.03 miles of hot mix asphalt resurfacing and reconstruction on I-94; resurfacing of I-94 from west of Helmer Road to 6 ? Mile Road and from east of I-94BL (Michigan Avenue) to west of 17 ? Mile Road; replacement of nine structures and the rehabilitation of eight structures including profile changes at the I-94 at Capital Avenue interchange to improve underclearance; reconstruction of I-94 over and under select bridges; paving of various ramps; guardrail upgrades, pavement markings, drainage improvements; and reconstruction of the rest area parking lot in the city of Battle Creek, Emmet and Marshall townships, Calhoun County. This project includes a 5 year materials and workmanship pavement warranty, a 3 year materials and workmanship pavement warranty, a 5 year warranty for thin epoxy polymer bridge deck overlay, a 2 year warranty on concrete surface coating, and a 2 year warranty on bridge coating. Only shortlisted contractors are eligible to bid on this project. ** 106000 Cb or 106000 Fa ** In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of Cb and Fa. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors.
