System Preservation (Bridge Replacement) The proposed project is located in Cochise County on State Route 80, approximately seven miles south of the City of Benson, at milepost 298.79. The work consists of removing the existing San Pedro River Bridge and replacing it with a continuous three span welded steel plate girder bridge. Additional work includes replacing guardrail and guardrail terminals, placing pavement markings, and other miscellaneous work.
