Description:
Hot mix asphalt or concrete reconstruction, pavement markings and bridge rehabilitation on 13 structures. 3.22 mi of hot mix asphalt or concrete reconstruction, pavement markings and bridge rehabilitation, including epoxy overlay, deck patching, substructure repairs and clean and coat structural steel on I-94 from 8 Mile Rd to 11 Mile Road in the cities of St. Clair Shores and Eastpointe, Macomb County. This project includes a 2 year concrete surface coating warranty, a 2 year bridge coating warranty, and a 5 year thin epoxy bridge deck overlay warranty. This project is an Alternate Pavement Bid project and allows the option for an alternate roadway base material. Alternate 1 (Section 2) is an HMA Alternative and includes a 5 year materials and workmanship pavement warranty. Alternate 2 (Section 3) is a Concrete Alternative and includes a 5 year materials and workmanship pavement warranty. Alternate 3 (Section 4) is Roadway Base Option 1. Alternate 4 (Section 5) is Roadway Base Option 2.
