Hot mix asphalt construction of a weave merge lane includes 1 bridge widening and rehabilitation on 3 structures. 5.28 mi of construction of a weave merge lane including 1 bridge widening and shallow overlay, hot mix asphalt cold milling and resurfacing, paver placed surface seal with detail 7 and 8 pavement repairs and pavement markings and bridge rehabilitation on 3 structures including deep overlay, beam end repairs, concrete surface coating, thrie beam and substructure repairs and approach work on I-196 westbound from M-11 to I-196 BL, I-196 from west of M-11 (28th Street) to west of Market Avenue and I-196 Ramp B over I-196 eastbound, I-196 Ramp M over the CSX Railroad and I-196 Ramp over Chicago Drive in the cities of Grandville, Wyoming and Grand Rapids, Kent County. This project includes a 3 year pavement performance warranty, a 2 year concrete surface coating warranty and a 5 year performance warranty for thin epoxy polymer bridge deck overlay. ** 6622 Cb or Comb/Jt. 6622 Ea, Fa **In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of Cb, Ea and Fa.
