WPI Celebrates Women in Construction Week

HOUSTON, TX — WPI recently acknowledged Women in Construction Week by highlighting the company's only female Vice President, Branch Manager, and Welder on its social media pages, as well as ending the week off with a lunch to celebrate women in construction on International Women's Day. WPI also ordered women in construction shirts for women in the division.

The I-290/I-88 Interchange Project is one of seven projects reconstructing and widening the Central Tri-State Tollway (I-294).

MDOT is widening U.S. 49 from four to six lanes to increase capacity.

The final segment of the 39-mile Fayetteville Outer Loop, from Raeford Road to Camden Road, is complete and open to traffic.

The Bangor Broadway Bridge Project will replace an existing three-span steel girder bridge with a single-span steel girder bridge on new cast-in-place concrete abutments.

The I-5 project will expand the interstate from two to three lanes in the southbound direction, along with building two bridges and a roundabout.

Contractors remove waste material from one of five slide locations on I-90. Once the waste material is removed, benches are cut into the slope in preparation for scoria to be placed.
