Müdar to Manage Transportation Projects in WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff's Los Angeles Office

LOS ANGELES, CA Zafer Müdar has been named a Senior Engineering manager in the Los Angeles, California, office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.
In his new position, Müdar will be responsible for managing transit and transportation projects in the Los Angeles area. He will also support the firm's business development and client relations in the region.
Some of the firm's current projects in Los Angeles include the Expo Line Phase 2, the Purple Line Extension, and the Regional Connector.
Müdar has more than 23 years of diverse project management and technical experience, with special emphasis on rail transit design, public works projects and highway design. His areas of expertise include railway design, street design, highway engineering, highway drainage, hydrology, and hydraulic studies.
Müdar received a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. He is a licensed professional engineer in California and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and American Society for Quality.
