Meyer Najem Construction Wins Awards of Excellence at ABC 2015 Merit Shop Awards Gala
FISHERS, IN The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Indiana/Kentucky awards Meyer Najem Construction the Award of Excellence for the Nickel Plate Building, Executive Management Services Build-Out, and the Ruth's Chris Steak House at Ironworks. Meyer Najem was also recognized as achieving ABC's STEP Diamond Level achievement in safety.
To achieve ABC's STEP Diamond level, among other requirements, a company must have a total recordable incident rate at least 50 percent below specific industry averages for the previous data year, maintain an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.700 (for small companies with less than 100 employees, the EMR limit is 0.800), submit their official U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration Forms 300 and 300A on work-related injuries and illnesses for review, and achieve a specific STEP self-evaluation score.
