HNTB Hires Bingham as Senior Environmental Program Manager

SANTA ANA, CA Jeffery C. Bingham joined HNTB Corporation as a Senior Environmental Program Manager. His role is strategic adviser and senior quality assurance/quality control reviewer on National Environmental Policy Act and California Environmental Quality Act projects, programs and pursuits. He offices in Santa Ana and currently is working on the South County Mobility Project in Orange County, California, for Transportation Corridor Agencies.Â

Bingham has four decades of experience in the environmental and transportation sectors. His government service includes cultural resource manager for the California Department of Parks and Recreation; state historic preservation officer in Sacramento; district archaeologist for Caltrans District 4 in the San Francisco Bay Area; and environmental office chief for Caltrans District 7 in Los Angeles.Â
Prior to joining HNTB, Bingham was a consulting environmental manager for another engineering firm. He has led the preparation of numerous environmental technical studies and documents for project approvals under NEPA and CEQA throughout California. His career has focused on environmental compliance, project and program management, interagency and community consensus-building, and cultural resource management.
Bingham holds a Master of Science in environmental studies from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from California State University, Long Beach. He is an active member of the National Association of Environmental Professionals and a certified project manager. Â
