Wright Wins the 2015 Edmund Friedman Professional Recognition Award

FAIRFAX, VA Neal T. Wright, PE, PMP, a Vice President and Principal with Dewberry, has been selected to receive the 2015 Edmund Friedman Professional Recognition Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
The national award recognizes Wright's significant contributions to the civil and professional engineering communities, his work to enhance the registration and certification of engineers, and his lasting impact with assisting military engineering veterans.
Wright is the National Co-Chair of the Warrior Transition Task Force, a program developed by the Society of American Military Engineers that focuses on transitioning military engineers into the civilian workforce, including identifying appropriate credentials available to departing service members. He also serves on the board of directors for the Society of American Military Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the Virginia Society of Professional Engineers. He is a fellow in the ASCE, the Society of American Military Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and is also a life member of the Army Engineer Association.
Wright serves as Vice President, Department of Defense (DOD) Market Segment Leader, and Principal in the firm's Virginia Beach, Virginia, office. He leads initiatives for delivering services to the DOD, the intelligence community, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Wright received his Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and his Bachelor's Degree in Planning from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
