Ortwerth to Provide Construction Site Supervision for Projects at South Carolina Port

CHARLESTON, SC  Craig Ortwerth, CCM, is providing construction site supervision services for infrastructure projects as a Resident Engineer in the Charleston, South Carolina, office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

In his new position, Ortwerth will serve as the Onsite Representative for WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff for projects at the Hugh K. Leatherman, Sr. Terminal at the Port of Charleston. In this position he is responsible for site supervision activities and coordination between the owner and the contractor, and for confirming that construction is in general conformance with the contract, plans, specifications, and any special provisions.

Ortwerth has more than 40 years of experience in construction services and management, as well as the design of complex projects. Prior to re-joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff he was involved in numerous projects along the U.S. east coast including transit tunnels and stations, bridges, and roads.

Ortwerth received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He is a member of the Construction Management Association of America.
