Smith Joins NIKA as Senior Vice President
ROCKVILLE, MD NIKA, a global provider of architecture, engineering, facilities and operations and maintenance solutions to government, announces Mark Smith joins the executive leadership team as Senior Vice President. In this newly created position, Smith will lead NIKA's Architecture and Engineering and Program Management business units. His responsibilities include enhancing business unit operations, implementing effective client service programs, expanding core services and working with the executive leadership team on the design and implementation of growth strategies.

"Mark's experience with government and commercial clients as well as his extensive knowledge of engineering operations will be a great addition to our team."
Smith is an accomplished leader with more than 28 years of experience in leading diverse teams in the successful identification, pursuit, and performance of complex architectural and engineering programs and projects for a broad spectrum of clients.

Smith was formally the Chief Operating Officer at Sullivan International Group, Inc., served as Managing Partner at Rock Creek Environmental, and held a succession of leadership positions at Tetra Tech, Inc. throughout his 23-year tenure. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Carnegie Institute of Technology.
