Sklar to Lead Water and Utilities Asset Management for WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff's Advisory Services

WASHINGTON, DC David Sklar has been appointed a Principal Consultant of Water and Utilities Asset Management in the Washington, D.C., office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.
In his new position, Sklar will lead the firm's asset management and business strategy offerings within the water and utility sectors of the firm's advisory services practice while also supporting the delivery and implementation of enterprise asset management projects within the firm's core rail and transportation sector. With more than 20 years of experience across the energy, water and public works infrastructure sectors, Sklar's areas of expertise include asset/infrastructure management, environmental sustainability, capital planning, process improvement, regulatory strategy and performance management.
Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, Sklar served in practice leadership and senior delivery roles within the management consulting practice of major international engineering firms, providing consultant and project management services in asset/infrastructure management, capital/financial planning, and performance management for a number of U.S. cities, including New York, New York, Baltimore, Maryland, Austin, Texas, Richmond, Virginia, and Columbus, Ohio. He earned a Master of Business Administration in sustainability from the University of Colorado - Denver, and a bachelor's in economics from Boston University. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Water Works Association and Water Environment Federation.
