AECOM Appoints Jessen Managing Principal of Buildings + Places, DC Area

WASHINGTON, DC AECOM announces that John Jessen, AIA, has been named Regional Managing Principal for the Washington metro area and mid-Atlantic region of its Buildings + Places business, part of AECOM's Design and Consulting Services Group (DCS).

In this role, Jessen will be responsible for leadership and growth of the firm's regional architecture, engineering, interiors, planning and consulting strategy business. He will also focus on further strengthening AECOM's reputation as a design-led, fully integrated multidisciplinary firm.

Jessen joins AECOM with 30 years of diverse project experience encompassing the disciplines of architecture, interior design, planning and programming. A recognized thought leader in particle therapy design, Jessen previously served as Senior Principal of Stantec's Washington, D.C., business center and formerly led Stantec's Particle Therapy center of excellence in Washington.
