Parsons Appoints Miller as Senior Vice President of Safety, Health, Environment, and Sustainability

PASADENA, CA Parsons announces the appointment of Anthony J. Miller as Senior Vice President of Safety, Health, Environment, and Sustainability.
Miller rejoins Parsons after a brief hiatus. His career has been noteworthy for his many accomplishments in innovative approaches to safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) programs. In addition to innovative employee and customer training programs, he has implemented online incident reporting systems and created a pre-task rental repair/delivery planning processes.

"He has a proven track record of lowering total recordable incident rates and workers' compensation costs with innovative and engaging approaches, and we look forward to his contributions."
Miller has nearly 10 years of experience working for Parsons and nearly 20 years working as a safety professional. During his previous tenure with Parsons, he held several progressive positions supporting operations in markets such as communications, life sciences, vehicle inspection and compliance, and environmental remediation. He served as the SH&E Director for the former Parsons environment and infrastructure business unit with added SH&E responsibility for the corporation's construction group.
Miller is a certified safety professional and holds a bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health with a concentration in safety management from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, and a master's degree in business administration from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. In 2014, he was recognized by the National Safety Council as a Rising Star of Safety. He will be based in Parsons' Charlotte, North Carolina, office.
