OKLAHOMA CITY, OK Preparing to meet current and future infrastructure needs in Oklahoma, HNTB opened a new Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, office to better serve the state's transportation clients. It is located at 100 North Broadway Ave., Suite 2420. The firm will gradually hire 20 or more professionals by the end of 2019 to staff the office and serve key infrastructure projects in the state.

HNTB, a national infrastructure solutions firm celebrating more than a century of service to clients nationwide, will provide a variety of infrastructure services, including transportation, transit, and aviation engineering, planning and environmental services to deliver infrastructure projects that will bolster the state's transportation network.

"As Oklahoma's population and economy continues to grow, HNTB recognizes the demand for transportation infrastructure that improves mobility and creates a dynamic transportation network," said Wayne Feuerborn, HNTB Vice President and Office Leader. "We are committed to helping transportation agencies deliver these vital programs."

HNTB's current projects in Oklahoma include innovative Bridge Raise projects on I-35 in Kay County and along I-40 near Tinker Air Force Base for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, and HNTB serves as a general technology consultant to the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. For the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, HNTB is working with the Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority and the city to implement Bus Rapid Transit along Peoria Avenue and is the prime engineer for the City's infrastructure improvements associated with A Gathering Place for Tulsa, including the reconstruction of Riverside Drive and the Arkansas River Pedestrian Bridge. HNTB also was the lead engineer for the bridge structural, civil, and electrical components of A Gathering Place for Tulsa.

HNTB's work in the Midwest has helped shape and expand the region's transportation network. Current and completed projects include the Council Bluffs Interstate System Segment Four, which includes the I-29/I-480 Interchange, for the Iowa Department of Transportation; the Johnson County Gateway Project in Johnson County, Kansas, which was the Kansas Department of Transportation's first design-build project; and the Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program for the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Nationwide, HNTB serves a myriad of complex projects in transportation, transit and rail, tolling, aviation, tunnels, federal services and more. Some of the firm's most notable projects, current and completed, include serving as designer for the Sixth Street Viaduct Replacement Project in Los Angeles; owner's engineer for the Tappan Zee Bridge replacement in New York; and designer for Levi's Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers.
