CHICAGO, IL  The Chicago, Illinois, office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Justin Weisberg as a partner in the construction and engineering practice. Weisberg joins K&L Gates from Arnstein & Lehr LLP, where he was chair of the firm's construction group.

With a background in professional engineering, Weisberg focuses his practice on construction law and commercial litigation, representing domestic and international clients, both public and private, in a variety of construction-related matters. These include contract negotiation, counseling, and litigation and dispute resolution relating to projects involving office, commercial, and residential buildings; nuclear and coal-fired power plants; refineries; governmental and manufacturing facilities; stadiums and exposition centers; and roads, bridges, and transit stations, among others.

"Justin's construction and engineering background adds a new dimension to our Chicago office, and enhances this important global practice," said Alan Barry, Administrative Partner of K&L Gates' Chicago office. "His arrival is another step in expanding K&L Gates' presence across multiple Midwest industries."

Weisberg is the second new partner to join K&L Gates' Chicago office in recent months, following the November arrival of health care partner Limo Cherian.

Lawyers in K&L Gates' global construction and engineering practice advise clients throughout the various phases of the construction process, from finance, development, and design through implementation, construction, and project closeout. The practice has been recognized with a national first-tier ranking in the annual U.S. News-Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" survey since the survey's inception in 2010.
