Neel-Schaffer Names Kunada as a Vice President

JACKSON, MS Neel-Schaffer, Inc. announces that Vijay Kunada, PE, PTP, PTOE, has been named a Vice President in the firm. 

Kunada joined Neel-Schaffer in 2006 and has 15 years of experience. He works in the firm's Lafayette, Louisiana, office, where he serves as the Engineer Manager, focusing on local and regional transportation plans, travel demand models, GIS projects, safety studies, traffic signal timing plans, corridor analysis, traffic impact studies, traffic simulation models, demographic forecasting, and other traffic engineering and transportation planning related projects for public and private developments. 

Kunada serves as the traffic-modeling expert for Neel-Schaffer, providing services for offices across the South. He has served as the Project Manager on numerous projects, providing modeling services while supervising the work, assigning necessary resources, and serving as the firm's primary point of contact with our clients. 

"Vijay has continued to excel as a valuable member of the firm," said Jerry Trumps, Neel-Schaffer's Senior Vice President over the Southwest Region. "With his traffic engineering, transportation planning, and information systems expertise he provides valuable leadership not only within the Southwest Region, but for our entire company." 

In addition to his project involvement, Kunada manages the day-to-day operations of the Lafayette office, one of Neel-Schaffer's 38 offices in nine states across the southeastern United States.
