OKLAHOMA CITY, OK FSB announces it will add and expand its industry-specific services. The firm is advancing its infrastructure and technology market group and expanding its education market group, as well as naming a new Principal of Business Development which will result in adding three new Principals and one additional Discipline Director.

"Our business is benefiting from the global movement toward larger architectural and engineering firms and has the capability of offering an integrated approach to projects," said Gary James, President and CEO of FSB. "Even though the market for our services is strong, we are constantly evaluating our spectrum of services to ensure we are responding to new opportunities in the market. Expanding our infrastructure market allows our firm to take advantage of increased public and private investment in mission critical facilities, transportation, technology, and corporate industries."

FSB's newly expanded infrastructure and technology market group will be led by Brian Sauer, an experienced mechanical engineer who has led a wide-range of public and private projects. An expert in sustainable LEED design, Sauer is currently leading the firm's engineering design work for the planned Joint Base Andrews aviation facility to house the new Air Force One presidential aircraft.

James said under Sauer's leadership, the group will work directly with public and private sector entities to design infrastructure related buildings using the latest technologies.

The firm is adding leadership to its educational market group with the appointment of Dennis Glover, who will be responsible for numerous projects ranging from K-12 schools to higher education facilities. Fred Schmidt, who has led the group for several years, will remain actively involved in strategic market development.

"From the beginning of our firm, education has been a very important part of our business," James said. "Under the leadership of Fred Schmidt, the education market group has consistently grown. We are confident Dennis will continue this momentum, and we will remain on the forefront of designing innovative educational facilities.

In addition to advancing the infrastructure and technology market group and the enhancements to the education market group, FSB is increasing its emphasis on new business development with the promotion of Laure Majors to Principal. As Principal, Laure will continue her responsibilities as director of business development, leading FSB's strategic planning and growth initiatives for Business Development, Marketing and Corporate Communications.

FSB has enjoyed a time of phenomenal growth over the past few years. Laure's expertise played a key role in our success, and in helping FSB earn a 2016 Metro 50 Fastest Growing Companies award," said James.

Rebel Smith will lead the firm's mechanical engineering discipline as Director, replacing Sauer.
