D.A. Dodd Names Marks Operations Manager
ROLLING PRAIRIE, IN D.A. Dodd announces Chris Marks has been named Operations Manager of the new D.A. Dodd Indianapolis Division. D.A. Dodd, a Mechanical Trade Contractor with operations in Indiana and Michigan, was acquired by Mno-Bmadsen, the non-gaming economic development enterprise of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, in April of 2015.
In his new role, Marks will report to Mark McKnight, President of D.A. Dodd, and will oversee operations for the firm's new Indianapolis, Indiana, division.

Prior to joining D.A. Dodd, Marks' served as the Executive Director of Facilities for Ivy Tech Community College where he oversaw all operations of construction, maintenance, and custodial services. He resided on the statewide committee for lean operations, strategic planning, and executive leadership council. Before that he was with Purdue University, where he implemented the service order release process, oversaw over 900 construction projects, and was a recipient of several national awards for building and construction.
He started his career as a third generation Pipefitter/Steamfitter with Union #166 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He holds a masters' degree in business and strategy from Western Governors University, and a bachelor's degree in industry and construction from Ball State University. He is also a licensed facilities management professional, and holds a Six Sigma master black belt certification.
