Hreljanovic Joins STV as Director of Design

NEW YORK, NY Renowned architect Darko Hreljanovic, AIA, has joined architectural and engineering firm STV as Director of Design. He will report to Chief Architect and Senior Vice President David Ziskind, FAIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C.
With nearly 40 years of experience, Hreljanovic will bring his vision of clean, simple, and streamlined modern architecture to STV's portfolio of government, institutional, academic, and transportation projects.
"Beyond his extraordinary design skills and impressive record, STV welcomes Darko's leadership in our architecture studio," said Jon Miller, AIA, LEED AP, Executive Vice President and head of the firm's Building & Facilities Division. "He will play a key role in collaborating and mentoring in the design process of many of our projects and will be instrumental in pursuing new projects."
Throughout his career, Hreljanovic has worked on a number of award-winning projects, including Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport, the Times Square Subway Complex, the West Midtown Ferry Terminal, and Cornell University's Human Ecology Building.
A graduate of Cornell University's prestigious College of Architecture, Art and Planning, Hreljanovic began his career with modern architectural pioneers Gordon Bunshaft, Michael McCarthy and Roy Allen at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. He went on to specialize in transportation architecture with William Nicholas Bodouva + Associates and rounded out his experience working on residential and academic buildings with IBI Group - Gruzen Samton.
Hreljanovic is a member of the American Institute of Architects and serves on the New York chapter's transportation committee.
