Dickinson to Head Sustainable Cities Services For New York Office of WSP USA

NEW YORK, NY Jonathan Dickinson joins the sustainability and energy practice in the New York, New York, office of WSP USA.
In his new position, Dickinson is heading up sustainable cities services. He will assist municipalities develop climate action plans and greenhouse gas reduction strategies, complete public disclosures and comply with public commitments such as the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy.
Dickinson has more than 15 years of sustainability industry experience. From 2006 to 2013, he was a senior policy advisor in the New York City Mayor's Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability. He was a senior member of the team responsible for developing and implementing New York City's comprehensive long-term sustainability plan, PlaNYC. He served as director of sustainability at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, New York, New York, from 2013 to 2014 and most recently served as director, sustainability services at Cventure LLC, a consulting firm providing third-party greenhouse gas emissions inventory verification and sustainability strategy services. He is also a lecturer for Columbia University's master of science in sustainability management program.
Dickinson received a master of marine affairs from the University of Rhode Island and a bachelor of arts from Hobart College. He is a board member of the New York City Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
