Program Management Expert Joins HNTB

HARRISBURG, PA Alan Williamson, PE, joins HNTB Corporation as a Senior Project Manager, providing program management services to clients. Based in the firm's Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, office, Williamson supports the firm's efforts with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's public-private partnership office.

Prior to HNTB, Williamson was with the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission in a variety of roles, including project manager for the PTC's conversion to all electronic tolling, project manager for the construction of new or rehabilitated interchanges and toll plazas, and geotechnical project manager.

"Clients are increasingly seeking program management experts who can help them deliver complex programs cost effectively while meeting aggressive schedules," said Joseph Guzzi, PMP, HNTB's Pennsylvania Office Leader and Vice President. "Alan's extensive experience managing transportation infrastructure projects from the development of initial concepts through completion is highly valued by our clients, and he is a welcome addition to our Pennsylvania team." 

Williamson holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from West Virginia University. A professional engineer in Pennsylvania, he is a member of the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
