Kalikow Group Wins 2018 ICF Builder Award for Best Development

WESTBURY, NY The Kalikow Group along with its partner, EYC Companies of Charleston, South Carolina, and Breakers Capital Partners, won the 2018 ICF Builder Award for Best Development for its 17 South Multifamily Project at this year's ICF Builder Awards, held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 12th annual ICF Builder Awards is an annual project-of-the-year competition for the insulated concrete form (ICF) industry, honoring the best ICF installers and builders and recognizes the milestone projects that have advanced the industry. ICF construction uses stackable rigid foam blocks filled with reinforced concrete to create buildings that are beautiful, durable, energy efficient, and disaster resistant.  

Winners were selected in nine categories (including Light Commercial, Heavy Commercial, MultiFamily, and three residential divisions).and represent the best-of-the-best. This year's contest attracted entries across the globe, including theaters, schools, condos, and residential projects of every shape, size and style.

"This was a terrific win for our Kalikow/Breakers/EYC team, which worked to create a unique and welcoming community for young families and single people, some of whom are calling our development their first home," said Ed Kalikow, VP of Kalikow Group. "Our long-standing collaboration with EYC has, time and again, yielded tangible results for our residents and our investors."
