Turner Construction Promotes Simmons to Operations Manager
NASHVILLE, TN — Turner Construction announces the promotion of Brad Simmons to Operations Manager of the company’s Nashville, Tennessee, and Huntsville, Alabama, offices.
Simmons is a graduate of Notre Dame, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering. He has earned several promotions since joining Turner’s Chicago, Illinois, office as a Field Engineer in 1997. In 2006, Simmons transferred to Nashville, where he has served as a Project Manager and Project Executive, primarily on multi-phase healthcare projects such as Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
“Brad brings strong technical skills and years of leadership experience to his new role as operations manager,” said John Gromos, Vice President and General Manager of Turner Construction’s Nashville office. “He’s been a valuable asset to our Turner team for years and we are confident he will continue to lead us to tremendous success.”
Simmons will remain heavily involved with Turner’s projects at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Additionally, he will play a large role in the company’s continued growth, developing employees, improving processes and efficiencies, and overseeing risk management.
