Kelley Equipment Company Expands Fleet with Terex AC 500-2 All-Terrain Crane

CLEARWATER, FL — Kelley Equipment Company of Florida, Inc. expands its crane fleet with the addition of a compact, eight-axle Terex AC 500-2 all-terrain crane. The new crane enables Kelley Equipment Company to handle a larger class of projects, which require lifting heavier loads at greater heights.
According to Russell Johnson, Vice President and General Manager at Kelley Equipment Company, the company chose the Terex AC 500-2 crane because of the unit’s ease of operation and ability to reach exceptional heights and radii.
With a carrier length of just 56 feet, the Terex AC 500-2 unit is the most compact eight-axle crane in its class. It has an impressive working height of 478 feet through the use of the unit’s luffing fly jib.
“The Terex AC 500-2 has a proven design that is versatile enough to use across the many markets our organization services,” said Johnson. “We also know that Terex stands behind its equipment with a knowledgeable product support team.”
Established in 1984, Kelley Equipment Company has one of the largest crane rental fleets in the United States. The company works alongside many of the largest general contractors in the southeastern part of the country, helping to erect infrastructure in the power and industrial, engineering and construction, as well as travel and transportation markets. Kelley Equipment Company employs more than 100 experienced professionals to help its customers grow and expand their business.
The new Terex AC 500-2 crane will get to work right away, providing service on an industrial expansion project in Louisiana.
Kelley Equipment Company also added a Terex Explorer 5800 all-terrain crane to its fleet.
