Ford to Manage Florida’s Turnpike Construction for WSP | Parsons Brinkerhoff
OCOEE, FL — Murray “Jon” Ford is managing highway construction activities on Florida’s Turnpike as a New Senior Supervising Construction Engineer in the Ocoee, Florida, office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.
Ford serves as a Construction Project Manager for a contract with Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise to oversee the administration of specific construction projects. He is responsible for design review and construction monitoring to ensure the project is constructed in a timely manner and in conformance with the plans and specifications, Florida Department of Transportation policy, and accepted practice within Florida.
Ford has more than 25 years of experience as a Construction Manager, overseeing all phases of multi-million dollar construction, infrastructure, transportation, and highway projects for government and private sector clients. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was a Senior Construction Consultant with a Tampa, Florida, firm, working with sureties to monitor major infrastructure projects in the southeast U.S.
He received a Bachelor of Science in construction management from Purdue University and is a Registered General Contractor in Florida.
